Our Purpose

Board Breakers Anonymous is a fellowship of skaters who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from Board Breakers Syndrome. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop breaking. There are no dues for fees for B.B.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions. Our Primary Purpose is keep the focus on ourselves rather than our boards.

Our Founder Dr. Jack

Dr. Jack* was never an actual pro skater, but he did like to break things. Thanks to his hard work and dedication Dr. Jack has helped many a skater to overcome the need to focus and become a productive member of society.

*Dr. Jack is not a real doctor, but he could play one on TV.

Are You a Breaker?

A board is a terrible thing to waste and every year more and more young Americans succumb to the overwhelming desire to break their skateboards. Breaking becomes the FOCUS of their lives (Focus is the term these young addicts use for breaking a skateboard). Now there is hope. Board Breakers Anonymous is here to help. Admit you are powerless and learn to live your life – one board at a time.

Make It - Don't Break It

There is hope through the 12 Steps of BBA. By attending meetings and using the slogans such as "Make it don't break it" and "One board at a time" many skaters have found the strength to stop the FOCUS.
